A new drive-through COVID-19 testing site will open at the Kingaroy Aerodrome 7.30am today 6 January 2022. The temporary site will be open until 3.30pm.

Testing will not be available at the Kingaroy Hospital.

You should only get a PCR test if you meet the following criteria:

  • You have COVID-19 symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of taste and smell, vomiting or nausea, diarrhoea
  • You have completed a positive rapid antigen test (RAT)
  • You are a household contact, or household-like contact of someone who has tested COVID-19 positive, and you have symptoms OR if you cannot get a rapid antigen test.

Please enter the airport precinct via the Edenvale South Road entrance. Traffic will flow one-way through the testing site, exiting onto the Kingaroy-Cooyar Road.

If you are attending for a test, it's a good idea to bring with you a bottle of water, snacks, your phone charger, any medication you may need. Please be patient if the lines are long. Our staff are doing their best to get to everyone in the line as soon as they can.
