Screening and checking in at our facilities

If you’re visiting any of our hospitals or health services, you’ll need to check in before you can enter.

This means scanning the Darling Downs Health QR code and filling in some questions to find out your potential risk of exposure to COVID-19 and determine whether you are permitted to enter the facility. This helps us protect you, and our vulnerable patients.

You can sign in when you arrive by scanning a QR code using your phone camera or the free Check in Qld app.

COVID-19 check in (Check in Qld)

  • Open the camera app on your phone and point it at the QR code, and you’ll be prompted to open 'the Check in Qld app.
  • Alternatively, open the Check in Qld app and scan directly from the app.
  • You can download the Check in Qld app on the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).
  • If you’re having trouble signing in or you don’t have a phone, please see one of our staff members who will help you.
